Again, we want to thank our stakeholders for their understanding, patience, and information concerning the issue. We would also like to thank the community and students for seeing things and bringing them to the staff’s attention. We have been actively searching phone and computer histories of individuals. Again, we are “Safe”! We are cancelling school for Thursday, September 26th, and will resume Monday, September 30th.

Public Announcement
First, we would like to thank the Rolette County Sheriff’s Office, Tribal Police Department, Dunseith City Police, and everyone involved in bringing information to our attention and dealing with the situation that has come about. We would like to let the community know that safety is our #1 concern for our staff and students. At present everyone is safe, we will resume school Monday, September 30th, at normal schedule. This will allow time for Law Enforcement to make additional contacts.
Due to a potential threat made towards the Dunseith Public Schools, we will be closed today, September 25th. We are working diligently with the City and County Police to determine the validity of the threat. We apologize for the short notice, but want to take the safety of our students and staff very serious. Thank you, Administration.
Just a reminder - Early Out Scheduled - Due to Professional Development for Staff, we have a scheduled early out on Wednesday 9-11-24, 1:50 pm for the Elementary School and 2:00 pm for High School.

Reminder to students in grades 9-12 please bring your Chromebooks to school fully charged and charger tomorrow. IT department will be doing a check in through out the day. Thank you and have a great school year!
Attention! Parents who are dropping off their students at the Elementary, they need to use the south door by the kitchen no earlier than 7:30. The door by the main office will not be accessible. All students must be picked up by 4 p.m. daily.
Also, All Junior High and Senior High Students need to get dropped off at the front entrance of the new CTE Center for breakfast.
Good Evening! Hope you all enjoyed your summer break! We are getting back into the swing of things and just want to send a friendly reminder that school will be starting back up on Wednesday, August 14th. We will have an open-house on Monday, August 12th. If your child is at the High School you can go to the open-house at the High School, if you child is at the Elementary School you will go to the open-house at the Elementary School. Enjoy your last week of summer and we will see you next week!
Attention Dunseith High School Students and Parents: If you have not turned in your Chrome Book or charger at the end of the school year, please drop off at the high school as soon as possible.

Tomorrow, May 23rd, will be our last day of school. The Elementary will release at 1:45pm and the High School at 2:00pm. If your child received a letter for summer school, summer school will start June 3rd at 9:00am and will go until 2:00pm, Monday through Friday. Have a great summer!

Just a reminder- our last Parent / Teacher Conference will be tonight from 4pm until 7pm. We will have a scheduled early out at 2:50pm for the Elementary students and 3:00pm for the High School. The schools will be closed from 3pm until 4pm for staff supper break.
There will be hearing testing done for Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 11th grades on May 1st. Any questions, you can contact Sarah Selburg at Ext #234. No consents need to be signed but if you wish to not have your child tested, please contact Sarah.

Good Evening! Just a reminder testing is in progress this week for NDSA testing this is for grades 3rd through 6th, 7th & 8th grade, and 10th grade students. Tomorrow 04/23/24 will be the ACT testing day for Juniors only, please come prepared, well rested and ready for testing. Please limit checking your child out early this week due to testing.
