We will have an early release on Wednesday, November 26th for our Thanksgiving Holiday. Elementary will release at 1:50 pm, with the High School releasing at 2:00 pm. Happy Holiday!

Update on school threat: Rolette County Sheriff's Dept and BIA law enforcement are actively looking for the suspect. As a precaution and to allow law enforcement time there will be no classes at Dunseith Public Schools tomorrow, Thursday, November 20th. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held as scheduled. All staff report to work at the regular time.

Earlier today, an individual drove past our playground area and made a verbal threat while children were present. Law enforcement was immediately contacted. The suspect, vehicle, and license plate have all been positively identified, and law enforcement is actively attempting to locate the individual at this time. The safety of our students and community remains our top priority. We will provide updates as they become available.

Attention Parents and Guardians: please dress your students appropriately for school and school bus. We have been having a lot of students get on the bus in shorts, no jackets, hats, or gloves. New Esports State Banners Unveiled in the CTE Building
Excitement is building as new esports banners for the 2024 and 2025 seasons have been hung in the CTE building, celebrating the growth of the Dunseith Esports program. With the new season just around the corner, a record 37 students have signed up and are ready to compete.
This year’s lineup features a mix of returning favorites and new challenges, including Fortnite, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Minecraft Bedwars, Chess, Valorant, Rocket League and the new Marvel Rivals. Each game offers students a chance to showcase teamwork, strategy, and skill in a competitive and supportive environment.
The banners represent more than just school spirit—they’re a symbol of how far the esports program has come and the exciting future ahead. As the season kicks off, coaches and players alike are eager to continue building a strong, positive gaming community at Dunseith High School.

Just a reminder tomorrow September 18, 2025, there will be an early out. The elementary school will be dismissed at 2:50 PM and the High School will be dismissed at 3 PM. We will be starting parent teachers conferences at 4 PM until 7 PM. Thank you!

Good evening, this is a reminder that Dunseith Public Summer School will begin tomorrow from 9-2. If your child needs to attend summer school, you should have received a letter in the mail. Please watch for the buses as they may not be their normal route drivers. If your child is missed or misses the bus, we ask that you bring him or her in and they can ride the bus home, so the driver will know where to stop. Thank you and we will see you in the morning.
