Congratulations to our Dunseith Dragon Boys on advancing to the state basketball tournament in Fargo. In light of this achievement, we will have an early dismissal at 1:50 pm for the Elementary School and 2:00 pm for the High School on Wednesday 3/18/26. Update on school threat: Rolette County Sheriff's Dept and BIA law enforcement are actively looking for the suspect. As a precaution and to allow law enforcement time there will be no classes at Dunseith Public Schools tomorrow, Thursday, November 20th. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held as scheduled. All staff report to work at the regular time.

Earlier today, an individual drove past our playground area and made a verbal threat while children were present. Law enforcement was immediately contacted. The suspect, vehicle, and license plate have all been positively identified, and law enforcement is actively attempting to locate the individual at this time. The safety of our students and community remains our top priority. We will provide updates as they become available.

Conference
Attention Parents and Guardians: please dress your students appropriately for school and school bus. We have been having a lot of students get on the bus in shorts, no jackets, hats, or gloves.
