There will be a scheduled early out at 2:50pm for students at the Elementary School and 3pm at the High School. Staff will be on supper break from 3pm-4pm. Part 2 of message: Again, we want to thank our stakeholders for their understanding, patience, and information concerning the issue. Public Announcement First, we would like to thank the Rolette County Sheriff’s Office, Tribal Police Department, Dunseith City Police, and everyone involved in bringing information to our attention and dealing with the situation that has come about. We would like to let the community know that safety is our #1 concern for our staff and students. At present everyone is safe, we will resume school Monday, September 30th, at normal schedule. This will allow time for Law Enforcement to make additional contacts.

Due to a potential threat made towards the Dunseith Public Schools, we will be closed today, September 25th. We are working diligently with the City and County Police to determine the validity of the threat. Attention! Parents who are dropping off their students at the Elementary, they need to use the south door by the kitchen no earlier than 7:30. The door by the main office will not be accessible. All students must be picked up by 4 p.m. daily. Also, All Junior High and Senior High Students need to get dropped off at the front entrance of the new CTE Center for breakfast.

Good Evening! Hope you all enjoyed your summer break! We are getting back into the swing of things and just want to send a friendly reminder that school will be starting back up on Wednesday, August 14th. We will have an open-house on Monday, August 12th. If your child is at the High School you can go to the open-house at the High School, if you child is at the Elementary School you will go to the open-house at the Elementary School. Tomorrow, May 23rd, will be our last day of school. The Elementary will release at 1:45pm and the High School at 2:00pm. If your child received a letter for summer school, summer school will start June 3rd at 9:00am and will go until 2:00pm, Monday through Friday. Have a great summer!
