Dear Community Partner,
The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction is currently performing an evaluation of the State’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Program. As part of the evaluation, we and the Department would like you to complete a brief survey about your impressions of our program and any other 21st CCLC program(s) that you have partnered with.
Your survey responses are anonymous and will be used by the state evaluator, Alvarez & Marsal Public Sector Services, to provide information about program quality, stakeholder satisfaction, and benefits. Your response will help their report show how the program is meeting state goals and federal standards and help improve our 21st CCLC Program and others across North Dakota.
The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete, and the program director will be informed only of overall ratings across all surveys. At the end of the survey, you will have the option of entering a drawing for one of two $50 Amazon gift cards.

Congratulations to our Dunseith Dragon Boys on advancing to the state basketball tournament in Fargo. In light of this achievement, we will have an early dismissal at 1:50 pm for the Elementary School and 2:00 pm for the High School on Wednesday 3/18/26. Please note that there will be no school on Thursday, 3/19/26. Let us come together to cheer on our Dragon Boys. We wish our Dragon boys the best of luck. We look forward to their bringing home the trophy.

Weather Announcement
Due to weather conditions, Dunseith Public School will have a two-hour late start tomorrow.
All students and staff should report two hours later than their normal start time.
Please travel safely, and we will see everyone tomorrow!

Due to the cold weather, school will be virtual on Thursday, January 22. Students will complete packets that were sent home and complete work in Google classrooms. Staff will not have to report to work! Stay safe and warm!

There will be no school for students on Monday, January 19. Staff will report as scheduled for professional development.

We will be running a 2 hour late start tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10th. Staff report at 9:30 am and students at 10 am.

Due to the weather, we will be doing a virtual day. Students please complete the work assigned in Google classroom or your paper packets. We will keep everyone posted on the game scheduled today later on, depending on weather.

We will have an early release on Wednesday, November 26th for our Thanksgiving Holiday. Elementary will release at 1:50 pm, with the High School releasing at 2:00 pm. Happy Holiday!

Update on school threat: Rolette County Sheriff's Dept and BIA law enforcement are actively looking for the suspect. As a precaution and to allow law enforcement time there will be no classes at Dunseith Public Schools tomorrow, Thursday, November 20th. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held as scheduled. All staff report to work at the regular time.
