Some of you may know but here's a little update about the Dunseith Esports program. This year we joined the Fenworks Esports League. This league consist of 6 games including Fortnite, Valorant, Super Smash Bros, League of Legends, Rocket League, and Minecraft.
Currently we have 9 teams from our school participating. We have 3 Fortnite teams, 1 Valorant team, and 5 Super Smash Bro teams. These teams consist of 23 Students from Dunseith.
Fortnight we have 2 teams that are in the top 16 thoughout the State of North Dakota. Our Valorant team is currently in 8th place in the state. Our Super Smash Bro teams we have 2 teams that in the top 16.
We have 3 weeks left of our regular season which ends February 2nd. After that we will have a final ranking for each of our teams. Top 16 teams in most game titles get to go to the state tournament which will be held at the new State of the Art Esports Facility at the UND Campus in Grand Forks. We are all very excited for this opportunity our first year to participate in a state tournament. Our students have been working very hard on team. work and strategies to get the win each week.
